Chasing Time

Emerging choreographer Jocelyn McLennan from Australia created Chasing Time, a short film from down under for Dare to Dance in Public. Inspired by the concepts of time and the collective rush of inner-city life, the film was shot in Brisbane, even though there were location restrictions for filming in the city that limited her options.

McLennan collaborated with her friend filmmaker Neil Noble and learned about the impact and influence of working with someone who takes your original ideas and invests in them. There were “bursts of originality through trial and error.”
