Khadijah McCaskill was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a BA in Sociology from Bryn Mawr College. She is a self-taught crocheter and craftswoman. Khadijah draws inspiration from Frida Kahlo, Simply Wholesome on La Brea, Olvera Street, Black strip clubs, and Hong Kong. When she’s not crocheting, she teaches art classes and gives tour at the Phillips Collection in DC.
