For the past four years I have been working on A Plastic Ocean, a new adventure documentary about the state of our oceans. The film is terrific. If you are in the Los Angeles area, there will be two screenings and I would love to see you there.

A Plastic Ocean is an epic global adventure following documentary filmmaker Craig Leeson and world record free-diver Tanya Streeter as they travel the earth, investigating how our addiction to plastic is impacting the food chain (“The ocean is the world’s largest source of protein”) and how that is affecting every one of us through new and developing human health problems. Our movie is filmed with beautiful and chilling detail, documenting the global effects of plastic pollution and introducing workable technology and policy solutions that can, if implemented, begin to change one of mankind’s most destructive inventions. Sir David Attenborough calls A Plastic Ocean “the most important film of our time.”

We will screen the film tonight, Thursday, January 26, at 7:30 pm at the Laemmle Playhouse, 673 East Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91101. I will be hosting that screening and will moderate a Q&A afterwards. You can purchase tickets here: https://www.laemmle.com/theaters/purchase/6/4800707

If you will be in the Los Angeles area, I hope you can join us.
