THE LAST HUNTER

Oh lonely hunter
Crazed by the moons’ scent
With blood-starved eyes and a veiny blade
To a strange misty land you went
Hunt the monsters our arrogance has made
With a visceral heart you fear not
Kill the beasts and leave them to rot

Oh lonely hunter
Shadows lengthen under a crimson sky
You grow primordial claws and bite
When your weary soul begins to cry
Turned hunted by this endless night
Now alone and hungry, you come for me
Do you hear the Gods laugh at thee?

What are you looking for?
