Whispering Walls

All I hear are muffled tunes
Sending ripples through my room
Words that prick the ears and conjure tears
Sit in my mind and consume

As static soars and fragments fly
Truths sharp breath buries lies
Pulls me ’round, shaves my eyes

Confined by chaos, cleaned by time
Thoughts that cram into my mind
With their impulsive stare and incessant glare
Act as though I’m unaware

Living for the futures folds
Captive as it casts its mould
Will I resume amid this tomb
Will all untangle uncontrolled?

Perhaps I should confront the calls
Rather than these whispering walls

What are you looking for?
